Service Description
Feeling like a warm hug with belly laughs, sleep support, massage & a yummy brunch. This wellness morning is the breath of fresh air you're looking for as a new or soon to be parent. Bring your friend, partner, family member for just €6 extra. We want this to be a fully inclusive event for your village. Each participant can bring along a plus 1. This will be up there with a pamper morning, just as much for you as for your baby & we promise you will feel refreshed & lighter after our morning together where your wellness is our priority. This is true peer support, at it's best! This morning is brought to you by Baby Massage instructer & Social Care Worker Niamh Rogers & Gentle Sleep Coach & Childcare Professional Patrice Keegan to support you in the early days & months with your baby. We are both Moms of 2 children each all under 5 & we are dedicated to providing a space for new parents to be open, vulnerable & have access to trusted & evidence based information on sleep & baby communication. We will start our morning with some mindfulness & relaxation, helping us feel present. Next, we will share some useful massage techniques for calming & connecting with your baby. We will have a little break for our yummy brunch & then lead into a lovely supportive chat about sleep, your baby's communication & how parenting feels for you. We will bust sleep myths, highlight normals, chat about the dreaded regression & safe sleep, inclusive of bed sharing, bottle feeding & breastfeeding families. We will finish off our morning with some positivity & relaxation to flow into a wonderful day. This space will be relaxing & welcoming for you & your baby & if you are expecting, bring along a doll to practice the techniques & prepare for the realitities of the early months.
